August Hive Inspection

Sunday, August 26th, 2012
  • No honey in upper supers
  • removed upper supers and queen excluder
  • installed empty top box with tray of apiguard
  • treated with fumagellin 1tsp per quart 1:1 syrup  (7 quarts total) over two weeks
  • 1 1/2 to 2 x number of bees
